Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a practice of healing that focuses on natural remedies and the body's inherent ability to heal without interference. Common treatments include herbs or foods, and other holistic things, instead of mainstream manufactured pharmaceuticals. Another term for naturopathy is alternative medicine, which many turn to when dissatisfied with the medical establishments where they live.
Naturopathic doctors are those who practice naturopathy. This is abbreviated ND or NMD. Naturopathic doctors are also frequently called Naturopaths, especially if they haven't had medical training, just natural healing training. A naturopath will prescribe naturopathic treatments for common ailments, and will often consult with medical doctors in cases of severe illness. Most naturopaths work independently from health systems, so unfortunately, their care is often not covered by insurance.
Naturopaths and naturopathic doctors practice natural medicine utilizing naturopathic remedies. These naturopathic remedies seek to heal the whole person, not just a specific injury or ailment. Often these natural remedies will include specific supplements or nutritional adjustments, and even psychological exercises. Often natural medicine and natural remedies will come in the form of herbs or specific foods. Tea will often have applications in natural medicine and natural remedies.
Homeopathic remedies are very similar to naturopathic remedies. Homeopathic remedies use herbs, extracts, plants, and more to heal illnesses.
Vega testing is a naturopathic test used by naturopaths and naturopathic doctors. The Vega test is an alternative to invasive blood tests. The Vega test can often detect problems in the blood that would generally require a traditional blood test; however, it is most often used to identify allergies. The Vega test uses acupuncture points as a taking off point for small electrical impulses. The resulting information gives the naturopath the results they need, without a blood test.
Pillules are small pills often used in homeopathic therapies and naturopathy. These pillules can contain the supplemental nutrients or extracts required for naturopathic treatments.
Naturopathy (naturopathy) has worked for millions of people. Most people who use naturopathic remedies instead of traditional medicinal remedies do so because the ingredients of naturopathic remedies are natural. The natural ingredients of naturopathic remedies are attractive to many, as the things found in nature are likely less harmful to our bodies than synthesized medications used in modern medicine. Naturopaths practice natural medicine with the belief that the world has provided for people for many, many years, and most of those years without modern medicine. As such, it stands to reason that most of what we need to heal can be found in nature. Another benefit of Naturopathic remedies is that there are often fewer side effects than with modern medicine.
